Barangay Montalban

Situated in Silvino Lobos, Northern Samar, Barangay Montalban is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

This made it the 24th largest of 26 barangays in Silvino Lobos by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Montalban accounted for approximately 1.05% of the total population of Silvino Lobos, which stood at 15,100 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Montalban changed from 160 to 158, a shift of -1.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Silvino Lobos. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Montalban as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
