Barangay P. Burgos

Barangay P. Burgos is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Siniloan, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay P. Burgos had a population of 4,805. This made it the 3rd largest of 20 barangays in Siniloan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay P. Burgos accounted for approximately 12.18% of the total population of Siniloan, which stood at 39,460 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay P. Burgos changed from 2,884 to 4,805, a shift of +66.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Siniloan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay P. Burgos as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Siniloan is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay P. Burgos, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
