Barangay Salubungan

Situated in Siniloan, Laguna, Barangay Salubungan is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Salubungan had a population of 1,947. This made it the 8th largest of 20 barangays in Siniloan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Salubungan accounted for approximately 4.93% of the total population of Siniloan, which stood at 39,460 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Salubungan changed from 1,751 to 1,947, a shift of +11.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Siniloan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Salubungan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Siniloan is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Salubungan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
