Barangay Binahian

Situated in Sipocot, Camarines Sur, Barangay Binahian is one of 46 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Binahian had a population of 1,911. This made it the 10th largest of 46 barangays in Sipocot by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Binahian accounted for approximately 2.80% of the total population of Sipocot, which stood at 68,169 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,884 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,911 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.4%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Binahian is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sipocot is a municipality comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Binahian, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
