Barangay Bulan

Situated in Sipocot, Camarines Sur, Barangay Bulan is one of 46 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bulan had a population of 566. This made it the 40th largest of 46 barangays in Sipocot by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bulan accounted for approximately 0.83% of the total population of Sipocot, which stood at 68,169 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 591 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 566 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -4.2%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bulan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sipocot is a municipality comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bulan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
