Barangay Cabaritan

Situated in Sison, Pangasinan, Barangay Cabaritan is one of 28 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cabaritan had a population of 1,710. This made it the 14th largest of 28 barangays in Sison by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabaritan accounted for approximately 3.27% of the total population of Sison, which stood at 52,320 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cabaritan moving from 1,619 residents to 1,710 residents, an intercensal change of +5.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cabaritan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sison is a municipality comprising 28 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cabaritan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
