Barangay New Dumangas

Situated in T'boli, South Cotabato, Barangay New Dumangas is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within SOCCSKSARGEN.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay New Dumangas had a population of 4,419. This made it the 8th largest of 25 barangays in T'boli by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay New Dumangas accounted for approximately 4.37% of the total population of T'boli, which stood at 101,049 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,020 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,419 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay New Dumangas is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

T'boli is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay New Dumangas, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of South Cotabato, which contains 225 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay New Dumangas ranks 72nd by 2020 population.
