Barangay Salacafe

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Salacafe is one of the administrative divisions of T'boli in South Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Salacafe had a population of 4,843. This made it the 6th largest of 25 barangays in T'boli by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Salacafe accounted for approximately 4.79% of the total population of T'boli, which stood at 101,049 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Salacafe moving from 3,134 residents to 4,843 residents, an intercensal change of +54.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Salacafe as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

T'boli is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Salacafe, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of South Cotabato, which contains 225 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Salacafe ranks 58th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
