Situated in Tabogon, Cebu, Barangay Combado is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

This made it the 25th largest of 25 barangays in Tabogon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Combado accounted for approximately 1.80% of the total population of Tabogon, which stood at 41,432 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Combado changed from 617 to 744, a shift of +20.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tabogon. Barangay Combado is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tabogon is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Combado, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
