Barangay Managase

Situated in Tabogon, Cebu, Barangay Managase is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Managase had a population of 1,543. This made it the 13th largest of 25 barangays in Tabogon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Managase accounted for approximately 3.72% of the total population of Tabogon, which stood at 41,432 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Managase changed from 1,467 to 1,543, a shift of +5.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tabogon. Barangay Managase is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tabogon is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Managase, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
