Barangay Arado

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Arado is one of the administrative divisions of Tanauan in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Arado had a population of 371. This made it the 52nd largest of 54 barangays in Tanauan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Arado accounted for approximately 0.65% of the total population of Tanauan, which stood at 57,455 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Arado moving from 360 residents to 371 residents, an intercensal change of +3.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Arado is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
