Barangay Balud

Situated in Tanauan, Leyte, Barangay Balud is one of 54 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

This made it the 53rd largest of 54 barangays in Tanauan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Balud accounted for approximately 0.46% of the total population of Tanauan, which stood at 57,455 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Balud moving from 262 residents to 267 residents, an intercensal change of +1.9%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
