Barangay Lower Mangali

Barangay Lower Mangali is a very small barangay in the municipality of Tanudan, located in the province of Kalinga, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lower Mangali had a population of 278. This made it the 14th largest of 16 barangays in Tanudan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lower Mangali accounted for approximately 3.18% of the total population of Tanudan, which stood at 8,746 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lower Mangali moving from 286 residents to 278 residents, an intercensal change of -2.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lower Mangali as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
