Barangay Mabaca

Barangay Mabaca is a small barangay in the municipality of Tanudan, located in the province of Kalinga, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mabaca had a population of 892. This made it the 3rd largest of 16 barangays in Tanudan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mabaca accounted for approximately 10.20% of the total population of Tanudan, which stood at 8,746 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mabaca moving from 806 residents to 892 residents, an intercensal change of +10.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Mabaca is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
