Barangay Pamantolon

Barangay Pamantolon is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Taytay, located in the province of Palawan, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pamantolon had a population of 2,228. This made it the 14th largest of 31 barangays in Taytay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pamantolon accounted for approximately 2.67% of the total population of Taytay, which stood at 83,357 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pamantolon moving from 1,847 residents to 2,228 residents, an intercensal change of +20.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pamantolon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
