Barangay Poblacion

Barangay Poblacion is a large barangay in the municipality of Taytay, located in the province of Palawan, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion had a population of 14,130. This made it the 1st largest of 31 barangays in Taytay by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion accounted for approximately 16.95% of the total population of Taytay, which stood at 83,357 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion moving from 11,097 residents to 14,130 residents, an intercensal change of +27.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Poblacion is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
