Situated in Tiaong, Quezon, Barangay Lusacan is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lusacan had a population of 12,409. This made it the 1st largest of 31 barangays in Tiaong by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lusacan accounted for approximately 11.68% of the total population of Tiaong, which stood at 106,265 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lusacan changed from 11,352 to 12,409, a shift of +9.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tiaong. Barangay Lusacan is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Tiaong is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lusacan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Quezon, which contains 1,242 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Lusacan ranks 4th by 2020 population.
