Barangay Guinobatan

Barangay Guinobatan is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Trinidad, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Guinobatan had a population of 2,410. This made it the 5th largest of 20 barangays in Trinidad by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Guinobatan accounted for approximately 6.86% of the total population of Trinidad, which stood at 35,119 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Guinobatan moving from 2,038 residents to 2,410 residents, an intercensal change of +18.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Guinobatan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
