Barangay Tubtuba

Barangay Tubtuba is a very small barangay in the municipality of Tubo, located in the province of Abra, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tubtuba had a population of 431. This made it the 9th largest of 10 barangays in Tubo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tubtuba accounted for approximately 7.60% of the total population of Tubo, which stood at 5,674 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tubtuba moving from 442 residents to 431 residents, an intercensal change of -2.5%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tubtuba as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tubo is a municipality comprising 10 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tubtuba, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
