Barangay Pualas

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Pualas is one of the administrative divisions of Tubod in Lanao Del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pualas had a population of 2,124. This made it the 9th largest of 24 barangays in Tubod by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pualas accounted for approximately 4.24% of the total population of Tubod, which stood at 50,073 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pualas moving from 2,099 residents to 2,124 residents, an intercensal change of +1.2%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pualas as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tubod is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pualas, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
