Barangay Pinamacalan

Situated in Tubungan, Iloilo, Barangay Pinamacalan is one of 48 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

This made it the 44th largest of 48 barangays in Tubungan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pinamacalan accounted for approximately 0.97% of the total population of Tubungan, which stood at 23,021 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 250 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 223 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -10.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Pinamacalan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
