Barangay III (Pob.)

Situated in Tuburan, Cebu, Barangay III (Pob.) is one of 54 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay III (Pob.) had a population of 215. This made it the 53rd largest of 54 barangays in Tuburan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay III (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.32% of the total population of Tuburan, which stood at 68,167 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 299 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 215 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -28.1%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay III (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
