Barangay Tigdok

Situated in Tudela, Misamis Occidental, Barangay Tigdok is one of 33 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tigdok had a population of 851. This made it the 14th largest of 33 barangays in Tudela by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tigdok accounted for approximately 2.98% of the total population of Tudela, which stood at 28,599 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tigdok moving from 817 residents to 851 residents, an intercensal change of +4.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tigdok is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
