Barangay Minanga

Situated in Tumauini, Isabela, Barangay Minanga is one of 46 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Minanga had a population of 1,391. This made it the 23rd largest of 46 barangays in Tumauini by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Minanga accounted for approximately 1.97% of the total population of Tumauini, which stood at 70,743 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Minanga changed from 1,360 to 1,391, a shift of +2.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tumauini. Barangay Minanga is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tumauini is a municipality comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Minanga, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
