Barangay Moldero

Barangay Moldero is a small barangay in the municipality of Tumauini, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Moldero had a population of 1,528. This made it the 21st largest of 46 barangays in Tumauini by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Moldero accounted for approximately 2.16% of the total population of Tumauini, which stood at 70,743 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Moldero moving from 1,521 residents to 1,528 residents, an intercensal change of +0.5%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Moldero as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
