Barangay Almacen

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Almacen is one of the administrative divisions of Unisan in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Almacen had a population of 853. This made it the 7th largest of 36 barangays in Unisan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Almacen accounted for approximately 3.35% of the total population of Unisan, which stood at 25,448 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 997 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 853 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -14.4%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Almacen is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Unisan is a municipality comprising 36 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Almacen, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Quezon, which contains 1,242 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Almacen ranks 689th by 2020 population.
