Barangay San Ramon

Situated in Uson, Masbate, Barangay San Ramon is one of 35 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Ramon had a population of 1,981. This made it the 8th largest of 35 barangays in Uson by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Ramon accounted for approximately 3.47% of the total population of Uson, which stood at 57,166 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Ramon changed from 2,069 to 1,981, a shift of -4.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Uson. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Ramon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Uson is a municipality comprising 35 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Ramon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
