Barangay Santo Cristo

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Santo Cristo is one of the administrative divisions of Uson in Masbate, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Cristo had a population of 788. This made it the 34th largest of 35 barangays in Uson by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Cristo accounted for approximately 1.38% of the total population of Uson, which stood at 57,166 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santo Cristo changed from 721 to 788, a shift of +9.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Uson. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Cristo as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Uson is a municipality comprising 35 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Cristo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
