Barangay Bairan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Bairan is one of the administrative divisions of Vallehermoso in Negros Oriental, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bairan had a population of 610. This made it the 15th largest of 15 barangays in Vallehermoso by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bairan accounted for approximately 1.50% of the total population of Vallehermoso, which stood at 40,779 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bairan moving from 510 residents to 610 residents, an intercensal change of +19.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
