This made it the 4th largest of 21 barangays in Villasis by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Amamperez accounted for approximately 8.24% of the total population of Villasis, which stood at 65,047 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,876 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,358 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.9%, consistent with a growing settlement.
