Barangay Nagbitin

Barangay Nagbitin is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Villaverde, located in the province of Nueva Vizcaya, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Nagbitin had a population of 2,679. This made it the 4th largest of 9 barangays in Villaverde by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nagbitin accounted for approximately 13.32% of the total population of Villaverde, which stood at 20,118 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,233 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,679 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +20.0%, consistent with a growing settlement.
