Barangay Culandanum

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Culandanum is one of the administrative divisions of Aborlan in Palawan, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Culandanum had a population of 1,511. This made it the 12th largest of 19 barangays in Aborlan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Culandanum accounted for approximately 3.90% of the total population of Aborlan, which stood at 38,736 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Culandanum changed from 1,296 to 1,511, a shift of +16.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Aborlan. Barangay Culandanum is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Aborlan is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Culandanum, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
