Barangay Adia

Situated in Agoncillo, Batangas, Barangay Adia is one of 21 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Adia had a population of 918. This made it the 16th largest of 21 barangays in Agoncillo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Adia accounted for approximately 2.35% of the total population of Agoncillo, which stood at 39,101 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Adia changed from 897 to 918, a shift of +2.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Agoncillo. Barangay Adia is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Agoncillo is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Adia, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Batangas, which contains 1,078 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Adia ranks 890th by 2020 population.
