Situated in Agoncillo, Batangas, Barangay Guitna is one of 21 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Guitna had a population of 503. This made it the 21st largest of 21 barangays in Agoncillo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Guitna accounted for approximately 1.29% of the total population of Agoncillo, which stood at 39,101 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Guitna moving from 583 residents to 503 residents, an intercensal change of -13.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Guitna as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
