Barangay Matarawis

Barangay Matarawis is a very small barangay in the municipality of Agutaya, located in the province of Palawan, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Matarawis had a population of 359. This made it the 8th largest of 10 barangays in Agutaya by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Matarawis accounted for approximately 2.79% of the total population of Agutaya, which stood at 12,867 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Matarawis moving from 349 residents to 359 residents, an intercensal change of +2.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
