Barangay 2 (Pob.)

Situated in Alabat, Quezon, Barangay 2 (Pob.) is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay 2 (Pob.) had a population of 1,205. This made it the 4th largest of 19 barangays in Alabat by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 2 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 7.56% of the total population of Alabat, which stood at 15,936 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay 2 (Pob.) changed from 1,362 to 1,205, a shift of -11.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Alabat. Barangay 2 (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
