Barangay Rangayen

Barangay Rangayen forms part of Alamada, a municipality in Cotabato, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Rangayen had a population of 3,970. This made it the 7th largest of 17 barangays in Alamada by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rangayen accounted for approximately 5.78% of the total population of Alamada, which stood at 68,659 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rangayen moving from 3,484 residents to 3,970 residents, an intercensal change of +13.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
