Barangay Basacdacu

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Basacdacu is one of the administrative divisions of Alburquerque in Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Basacdacu had a population of 850. This made it the 7th largest of 11 barangays in Alburquerque by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Basacdacu accounted for approximately 7.56% of the total population of Alburquerque, which stood at 11,246 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Basacdacu moving from 793 residents to 850 residents, an intercensal change of +7.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
