Barangay East Poblacion

Barangay East Poblacion is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Alburquerque, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay East Poblacion had a population of 2,241. This made it the 1st largest of 11 barangays in Alburquerque by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay East Poblacion accounted for approximately 19.93% of the total population of Alburquerque, which stood at 11,246 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay East Poblacion moving from 2,046 residents to 2,241 residents, an intercensal change of +9.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
