Barangay Tagbuane

Barangay Tagbuane is a small barangay in the municipality of Alburquerque, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tagbuane had a population of 928. This made it the 6th largest of 11 barangays in Alburquerque by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tagbuane accounted for approximately 8.25% of the total population of Alburquerque, which stood at 11,246 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tagbuane moving from 867 residents to 928 residents, an intercensal change of +7.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
