Barangay Busilac

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Busilac is one of the administrative divisions of Alfonso Lista in Ifugao, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Busilac had a population of 1,654. This made it the 8th largest of 20 barangays in Alfonso Lista by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Busilac accounted for approximately 4.86% of the total population of Alfonso Lista, which stood at 34,061 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Busilac moving from 1,676 residents to 1,654 residents, an intercensal change of -1.3%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Busilac as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Alfonso Lista is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Busilac, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Ifugao, which contains 176 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Busilac ranks 37th by 2020 population.
