Barangay Calupaan

Situated in Alfonso Lista, Ifugao, Barangay Calupaan is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within CAR.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Calupaan had a population of 1,012. This made it the 15th largest of 20 barangays in Alfonso Lista by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calupaan accounted for approximately 2.97% of the total population of Alfonso Lista, which stood at 34,061 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Calupaan moving from 835 residents to 1,012 residents, an intercensal change of +21.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Calupaan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
