Barangay Calimag

Barangay Calimag is a small barangay in the municipality of Alfonso Lista, located in the province of Ifugao, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Calimag had a population of 678. This made it the 19th largest of 20 barangays in Alfonso Lista by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calimag accounted for approximately 1.99% of the total population of Alfonso Lista, which stood at 34,061 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Calimag moving from 673 residents to 678 residents, an intercensal change of +0.7%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. Barangay Calimag is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Alfonso Lista is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Calimag, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
