Barangay Ulay-Hinablan

Barangay Ulay-Hinablan is a very small barangay in the municipality of Alimodian, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ulay-Hinablan had a population of 409. This made it the 37th largest of 51 barangays in Alimodian by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ulay-Hinablan accounted for approximately 1.03% of the total population of Alimodian, which stood at 39,722 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 381 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 409 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Ulay-Hinablan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Alimodian is a municipality comprising 51 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Ulay-Hinablan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
