Barangay Dalipit West

Barangay Dalipit West is a small barangay in the municipality of Alitagtag, located in the province of Batangas, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dalipit West had a population of 931. This made it the 15th largest of 19 barangays in Alitagtag by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dalipit West accounted for approximately 3.47% of the total population of Alitagtag, which stood at 26,819 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 939 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 931 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.9%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dalipit West as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Alitagtag is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dalipit West, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
