Situated in Alitagtag, Batangas, Barangay Dominador East is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dominador East had a population of 1,417. This made it the 7th largest of 19 barangays in Alitagtag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dominador East accounted for approximately 5.28% of the total population of Alitagtag, which stood at 26,819 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,116 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,417 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +27.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dominador East as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
