Barangay Olango

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Olango is one of the administrative divisions of Aloguinsan in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Olango had a population of 1,047. This made it the 13th largest of 15 barangays in Aloguinsan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Olango accounted for approximately 3.04% of the total population of Aloguinsan, which stood at 34,466 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Olango moving from 1,151 residents to 1,047 residents, an intercensal change of -9.0%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Olango is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
