Barangay Rosario

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Rosario is one of the administrative divisions of Aloguinsan in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Rosario had a population of 2,198. This made it the 6th largest of 15 barangays in Aloguinsan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rosario accounted for approximately 6.38% of the total population of Aloguinsan, which stood at 34,466 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rosario moving from 1,868 residents to 2,198 residents, an intercensal change of +17.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
