Barangay Don Ramon

Barangay Don Ramon is a very small barangay in the municipality of Anao, located in the province of Tarlac, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Don Ramon had a population of 445. This made it the 14th largest of 18 barangays in Anao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Don Ramon accounted for approximately 3.65% of the total population of Anao, which stood at 12,208 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Don Ramon moving from 418 residents to 445 residents, an intercensal change of +6.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Don Ramon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Anao is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Don Ramon, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Tarlac, which contains 511 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Don Ramon ranks 497th by 2020 population.
