Barangay Bone North

Barangay Bone North is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Aritao, located in the province of Nueva Vizcaya, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bone North had a population of 2,609. This made it the 7th largest of 22 barangays in Aritao by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bone North accounted for approximately 6.18% of the total population of Aritao, which stood at 42,197 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bone North changed from 2,337 to 2,609, a shift of +11.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Aritao. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bone North as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Aritao is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bone North, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
